Livingston: COMPANY PROFILE

OUR HISTORY

Livingston is the private Italian carrier, leader for both charter and scheduled leisure flights. Livingston was founded in March 2003 and, since September 2005, has taken over both the long-haul routes and fleet of Lauda Air Italia (the airline founded, in 1991, by former Formula One Pilot Niki Lauda), which, up to that moment, was part, together with Livingston, of the air transport holding Livingston Aviation Group.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Livingston's philosophy is perfectly expressed by its payoff - ENERGY FLIGHT - logo and aircraft colours (tail and interiors). The colour orange stands for energy and vitality, while the orange fruit, in place of the mascot's head, is a symbol of vitamins and radiance. In addition, special attention to the onboard Comfort/Wellness and the Safety/Reliability of its young fleet have always been Livingston's defining features.

OUR FLEET

Livingston's fleet consists of 3 Airbus A330-200s for long-haul flights (297 seats/double class) and 3 Airbus A321-200s for short/medium-haul flights (210 seats/economy class) based at Milan Malpensa Airport. The recent replacement of its fleet makes Livingston one of the world's most reliable and modern Airbus A330-200 and Airbus A321-200 operators today. On board these aircraft, modernity and comfort combine to meet passengers' needs in terms of punctuality, safety, entertainment and relaxation. Indeed, in addition to roomy cabins, permitting an easier access and greater ease of movement, cutting-edge technology is used for communication systems and In-flight Entertainment. Safety and technical reliability are priorities. In fact, Livingston is certified by the Italian Civil Aviation Authority (ENAC) to operate and maintain the Airworthiness of its aircraft (Aircraft Operator Certificate AOC number I-039), in accordance with European Union regulations JAR/EASA. It is also certified as a maintenance company, in accordance with the European Union regulation EASA PART 145. Moreover, thanks to frequent and attentive checks and inspections, Livingston's fleet ranks amongst the best airlines in the world as for technical reliability results.
