LIVINGSTON HEADING FOR EL SALVADOR
Promotional fares from 499 €

Livingston, the Italian private carrier owned by Ventaglio Group and leader in the Italian sector of leisure flights all over the world, starts the sale of tickets for the destination of El Salvador included in the scheduled flights' programme for the Autumn/Winter season 2007/2008. As a matter of fact, from the 21st of October, Livingston will connect the airport of Milan Malpensa (MXP) to that of San Salvador (SAL) trough a weekly direct scheduled flight operated by the Airbus A330-200s (297 seats - double class: business/economy) of its modern and reliable fleet.

In order to effectively launch this brand-new scheduled connection on the market, Livingston announces a promotional and very competitive offer intended for the ethnic tourism at a price of 499 € + 110.31 € taxes, including a round-trip ticket in economy class and a free allowance of baggage up to 50 kg. Such promotional fare is the result of the agreement, recently achieved by Livingston and the Ministry of Tourism of El Salvador, aiming at making the travelling of Salvadoran passengers easier in both directions.
The promotional fares may be booked only through the internet site www.lauda.it, or else by applying to the Toll-Free Number 800 052832 (active only from Italy).

In addition to this, the Letter of Intent, signed with the Central American carrier TACA in February 2007, will enable Livingston passengers, departing from Italy, to use the frequent and convenient TACA's flights to reach also all the other countries of the Central American area: Honduras, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Panama, Guatemala and Belize.

"The arrival of the first Livingston flight, on the 21st of October, represents an important step for our country within the National Tourism Plan 2014. Such a date will be a milestone for us, since it will be the outcome of a negotiation process lasted for about one year and resulting right in this first direct connection between El Salvador and Europe, as well as between Central America and Italy." comments Ruben Rochi, Minister of Tourism of El Salvador - "This flight will increase the number of European tourists, the Italian travellers in particular, coming to our country. This is a key market for us, being of a high profile. All travellers visiting El Salvador will have the opportunity to enjoy the natural beauties of our land, experience the high quality of our infrastructures, know our history and be enchanted by our friendly and congenial people".

"After just six months from the Letter of Intent, signed with the Central American carrier TACA, and about one year from the beginning of the profitable co-operation with the Ministry of Tourism of El Salvador, Livingston has just started the sale of the tickets for the first non-stop flight connection between Italy and El Salvador." - comments Giancarlo Celani, Chairman and CEO of Livingston- "We are more than honoured to add such a valued and charming destination to our long-haul network, also considering that this country is obtaining the approval both by travellers and by the Italian Tour Operators. In addition to this, we are confident that this connection will be highly appealing for the ethnic tourism, which will benefit from promotional fares and special allowances for the baggage, and appreciated by the Salvadoran passengers on their way to our country and to Europe, since they will avoid long stop-overs in the United States. I would like to thank once more the Government of El Salvador for the key support and trust constantly given through all the development and preparation stages of this project. We do reconfirm our whole commitment and professionalism in order to guarantee the success for this flight and, more in general, for El Salvador on the map of the major tourist destinations on a European and international level".
